about

WARNING: This is an instrumental album. A lot of these tracks were written and arranged with the intention of developing them into songs; hence the moments of repetition. Eventually they may mature into full grown songs, but as of this moment they were just collecting digital dust in my auditory petri dish of a computer. They are also all very different as a whole and are a representation of the different styles of playing that I enjoy writing in. There's definitely a handful of tunes for all to enjoy. I can only hope that whoever is listening is willing to go the full mile with it. I didn't really group them together like a well-crafted mixtape might flow. I merely modified the alphabetical order a bit.

Volume 1 consists of tracks that have a little bit more beefiness to the mix and Volume 2 is mostly just raw recordings with basically no post-production. I thought they sounded good enough for the most part. I know I've owned records that sounded worse, but I think those songs were likely better. If you've read this far, thank you. If you decide to purchase this result of hundreds of hours spent writing and arranging, thank you. This is the culmination of cluttering up my hard drive for the last couple years. I hope you enjoy it as much I did fucking around and making it.
---The last minute and a half or so of the very last song on vol. 2 is one of my favorite parts of the entire project.---
*****DISCLAIMER*****
I hate that we live in times where I even have to write this, but I do. The cover art for this is 2 of the X-rays I had taken when I had to have surgery on my hand in July of 2018. The hand making the 'OK' symbol, is also holding a guitar pick the way one's hand does. It is in no way affiliated with any of the right wing fascists fucks who have decided to take it.
As a result of my injury and the failure of the temporary pins to fix the dislocation of my left pinky finger, I am unable to play at the level I used to play at. My hand regularly hurts and there are days when I can't really play. I have made a lot of progress over the years and I am thankful to have achieved where I've gotten to in rehabbing my hand. But I, like every weekend golfer, am handicapped in my playing. The album's title is a reflection of my inability to play at the level my brain tries to tell my hands to play at.
